Aigne Photo Competition

To celebrate the relaunch of Aigne, an interdisciplinary academic journal based in UCC’s College of Arts, Celtic Studies and Social Sciences, we are hosting a photography competition in search of a cover image for our Summer 2018 issue, exploring the theme “Identity (Re)construction”. Entrants whose work explores, comments on, depicts or somehow connects with this theme will be strongly favoured. Individuals may enter a total of two photographs, and each entry should be accompanied by a short (max. 50 words) description of the image. For more information on Aigne, please visit http://aigne.ucc.ie/index. - Entrants should email their submissions to aigne@ucc.ie, and title their email ‘Aigne Photo Competition’. - Images should be at least 300 dpi and saved as medium to high quality jpegs. - It is the responsibility of the entrant to ensure that any images submitted have been taken with the permission of the subject and do not infringe the copyright of any third party. - All entries must be in by March 1st, 2018. - By entering, all participants agree to give Aigne the unlimited royalty-free right to use, reproduce and/or display the winning image in any format.
