To be included in the 2024 issue, please submit your report by the 30th of September, 2023.

Reports should be 1,000 words in length and should be original, unpublished in print or electronically and not under consideration elsewhere.

Submission can include reports from Irish conferences, international conferences, and other academic events in the realm of humanities and social sciences.

The theme of this issue is ‘Encounters’. Encounters initiate opportunities to meet, participate, and practise resilience or adaptation in the face of the unfamiliar or unknown. They may encourage a sense of belonging. Conversely, encounters may lead to rejection or silencing of new ideas, voices, objects, organisms, or experiences, to polarisation, to fear of the Other, or a desire to remain unaffected. Encounters may span human and non-human terrains.
